Providing information for knowing and understanding LGBTQ+ to people in Japan
In Japan, LGBTQ+ people still face widespread discrimination and prejudice. Because of this, I wanted to educate people about the LGBTQ+ movement and advocate for greater tolerance and understanding.
The primary aspect of this project was my short film, where I used motion graphics to convey information about the LGBTQ+ movement. I also made posters, a booklet, and a website to supplement the information in the video.
The visual style of this work was minimalistic and Japanese-inspired, expressing the information I wanted to the viewer in a direct yet friendly way.
Posters with Japanese letters using the alphabet and English letters using katakana.
